Our prepared foods are individually packaged and ready for you to bake at home. The cooking instructions are easy, everything cooks at 400 degrees and for no longer than 20 minutes. Prepared foods include: vegetarian meals, a variety of chicken dishes, salmon, shrimp, haddock, steaks, beef tenderloin, pork chops, side dishes, desserts, and more!

Call ahead and we’ll set your order aside to ensure availability. Special orders can also be placed weekly if your dietary needs aren’t met by our regularly made foods. We have many gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan items in the store daily and we will be happy to further accommodate you and your needs.

Non-Profit Involvement

We gladly contribute event platters and gift certificates to local organizations and non-profits annually. These non-profits include: Family Outreach, Safe Passage, Cancer Connection, Habitat for Humanity, 2 Moms on a Mission, Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum, Lake Wyola Association, Town of Amherst, First Congregational Church, Amherst Jones Library, South Hadley Family Center, Springfield Rescue Mission, Riverside Industries, Amherst Rotary, WGBY, NEPR, WFCR, The Common School, Amherst High School Booster Club, Amherst High School Year Book, Amherst Regional Middle School Chorus, Fort River School PTO, Pioneer Valley School of Performing Arts, CISA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, UMass Fine Arts Center, Frontier Football, and more.

In addition to the organizations and non-profits we donate to, our store is also the “home base” for our own non-profit: The Leo Elison Peace Education Fund. Run by owner Raphael Elison and his siblings, the Leo Elison Peace Education Fund was named for their late father Professor Leo Elison, who worked to provide quality peace education to young children in the slums of New Delhi, India. All donated funds go to directly supporting the Life Spring School he opened in New Delhi. Tote bags, pillow cases, and table cloths made by the students of the Life Spring School can be purchased at Portabella Fine Foods for a $25 donation.
